Description9-(2H-1,3-benzodioxol-5-yl)-4-{[(2R,3R,4R,5R)-3-hydroxy-4,5-dimethoxyoxan-2-yl]oxy}-6,7-dimethoxy-1H,3H-naphtho[2,3-c]furan-1-one belongs to the class of organic compounds known as lignan glycosides. These are aromatic polycyclic compounds containing a carbohydrate component glycosidically linked to a lignan moiety. They include 1-aryltetralin lactones. 9-(2h-1,3-benzodioxol-5-yl)-4-{[(2r,3r,4r,5r)-3-hydroxy-4,5-dimethoxyoxan-2-yl]oxy}-6,7-dimethoxy-3h-naphtho[2,3-c]furan-1-one is found in Cleistanthus collinus. Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on 9-(2H-1,3-benzodioxol-5-yl)-4-{[(2R,3R,4R,5R)-3-hydroxy-4,5-dimethoxyoxan-2-yl]oxy}-6,7-dimethoxy-1H,3H-naphtho[2,3-c]furan-1-one.
