Description | (1R,4S,5S,8E,12R,13R)-alpha-Methylene-4,8,12-trimethyl-12,13-dihydroxy-4,5-epoxycyclotetradeca-8-ene-1-acetic acid delta-lactone belongs to the class of organic compounds known as macrolides and analogues. These are organic compounds containing a lactone ring of at least twelve members. (1r,4s,6s,9e,13r,14r)-13-hydroxy-4,9,13-trimethyl-17-methylidene-5,15-dioxatricyclo[12.3.1.0⁴,⁶]octadec-9-en-16-one is found in Sinularia capillosa. Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on (1R,4S,5S,8E,12R,13R)-alpha-Methylene-4,8,12-trimethyl-12,13-dihydroxy-4,5-epoxycyclotetradeca-8-ene-1-acetic acid delta-lactone. |
