| Description | Methyl 8-[(1S,5R)-1-hydroxy-4-oxo-5-[(2Z)-pent-2-en-1-yl]cyclopent-2-en-1-yl]octanoate belongs to the class of organic compounds known as prostaglandins and related compounds. These are unsaturated carboxylic acids consisting of a 20 carbon skeleton that also contains a five member ring, and are based upon the fatty acid arachidonic acid. methyl 8-[(1s,5r)-1-hydroxy-4-oxo-5-[(2z)-pent-2-en-1-yl]cyclopent-2-en-1-yl]octanoate is found in Artemisia anomala. Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on methyl 8-[(1S,5R)-1-hydroxy-4-oxo-5-[(2Z)-pent-2-en-1-yl]cyclopent-2-en-1-yl]octanoate. |
