These are sterol lipids with a structure based on the stigmastane skeleton, which consists of a cholestane moiety bearing an ethyl group at the carbon atom C24. (1s,3ar,3br,5as,7s,8r,9ar,9br,11as)-1-[(2s,3r,4r,5e)-3,4-dihydroxy-5-isopropylhept-5-en-2-yl]-9a,11a-dimethyl-tetradecahydro-1h-cyclopenta[a]phenanthrene-7,8-diol is found in Phaseolus vulgaris. Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on (1R,2R,4R,5S,7S,10R,11R,14S,15S)-14-[(2S,3R,4R,5E)-3,4-dihydroxy-5-(propan-2-yl)hept-5-en-2-yl]-2,15-dimethyltetracyclo[8.7.0.0²,⁷.0¹¹,¹⁵]Heptadecane-4,5-diol. |
