| Description | (5AS,7aR,11aS,11bS)-2-methoxy-5a,8,8,11a-tetramethyl-4,5a,6,7,7a,8,9,10,11,11a,11b,12-dodecahydro-1H-5-oxatetraphene-1,4-dione belongs to the class of organic compounds known as naphthopyrans. Naphthopyrans are compounds containing a pyran ring fused to a naphthalene moiety. Furan is a 6 membered-ring non-aromatic ring with five carbon and one oxygen atoms. Naphthalene is a polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbon made up of two fused benzene rings. (5as,7ar,11as,11bs)-2-methoxy-5a,8,8,11a-tetramethyl-6,7,7a,9,10,11,11b,12-octahydro-5-oxatetraphene-1,4-dione is found in Dactylospongia elegans. Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on (5aS,7aR,11aS,11bS)-2-methoxy-5a,8,8,11a-tetramethyl-4,5a,6,7,7a,8,9,10,11,11a,11b,12-dodecahydro-1H-5-oxatetraphene-1,4-dione. |
