| Description | 5-Methoxyflavone belongs to the class of organic compounds known as 5-o-methylated flavonoids. These are flavonoids with methoxy groups attached to the C5 atom of the flavonoid backbone. 5-methoxy-2-phenylchromen-4-one is found in Imperata cylindrica. 5-methoxy-2-phenylchromen-4-one was first documented in 2019 (PMID: 31678783). Based on a literature review a small amount of articles have been published on 5-Methoxyflavone (PMID: 32534819) (PMID: 30445823). |
