DescriptionSibiricinone D belongs to the class of organic compounds known as diterpenoids. These are terpene compounds formed by four isoprene units. (1r,2s,4s,4as,5'r,5''r,8as)-4-hydroxy-5''-methoxy-2,5,5,8a-tetramethyl-hexahydrodispiro[naphthalene-1,2':5',3''-bis(oxolane)]-3-one is found in Leonurus sibiricus. (1r,2s,4s,4as,5'r,5''r,8as)-4-hydroxy-5''-methoxy-2,5,5,8a-tetramethyl-hexahydrodispiro[naphthalene-1,2':5',3''-bis(oxolane)]-3-one was first documented in 2004 (PMID: 15104513). Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on Sibiricinone D.
