| Description | (-)-Lepadin A belongs to the class of organic compounds known as quinolidines. These are organic compounds containing a quinolidine or decahydroquinoline moiety, which is a bicyclic skeleton consisting of a piperidine fused to a cyclohexane ring. (2s,3s,4as,5s,8ar)-2-methyl-5-[(1e,3e)-octa-1,3-dien-1-yl]-decahydroquinolin-3-yl 2-hydroxyacetate is found in Clavelina lepadiformis. Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on (-)-Lepadin A. |
