| Description | Vismin belongs to the class of organic compounds known as anthracenes. These are organic compounds containing a system of three linearly fused benzene rings. 4,5,10-trihydroxy-7-methyl-1,1-bis(3-methylbut-2-en-1-yl)anthracen-2-one is found in Vismia macrophylla. 4,5,10-trihydroxy-7-methyl-1,1-bis(3-methylbut-2-en-1-yl)anthracen-2-one was first documented in 2003 (PMID: 12828475). Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on Vismin (PMID: 23472469). |
