Description(3Beta,24R,24'R)-fucosterol epoxide, also known as (24R,24(1)R)-fucosterol epoxide, belongs to the class of organic compounds known as c24-propyl sterols and derivatives. These are sterols that carry a hydroxyl group at the 3-position, and a propyl group at the 24-position of the steroid backbone. Thus, (3beta,24R,24'r)-fucosterol epoxide is considered to be a sterol. (24r,24'r)-fucosterol epoxide is found in Bombyx mori. Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on (3beta,24R,24'R)-fucosterol epoxide.
