DescriptionAbiesanolide D belongs to the class of organic compounds known as terpene lactones. These are prenol lipids containing a lactone ring. methyl 3-[(1r,3'ar,4's,5s,5'r)-2,4',5-trimethyl-5-[(2s)-1-[(2z)-4-methyl-5-oxofuran-2-ylidene]propan-2-yl]-5'-(prop-1-en-2-yl)-3',3'a,5',6'-tetrahydro-2'h-spiro[cyclopentane-1,1'-inden]-2-en-4'-yl]propanoate is found in Abies sachalinensis. Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on Abiesanolide D.
