| Description | Puqietinonoside belongs to the class of organic compounds known as steroidal glycosides. These are sterol lipids containing a carbohydrate moiety glycosidically linked to the steroid skeleton. (1r,3as,3bs,5as,7s,9ar,9bs,11as)-1-[(1s)-1-[(2r,5s)-1,5-dimethylpiperidin-2-yl]ethyl]-9a,11a-dimethyl-7-{[(2r,3r,4s,5s,6r)-3,4,5-trihydroxy-6-(hydroxymethyl)oxan-2-yl]oxy}-tetradecahydrocyclopenta[a]phenanthren-5-one is found in Fritillaria puqiensis. (1r,3as,3bs,5as,7s,9ar,9bs,11as)-1-[(1s)-1-[(2r,5s)-1,5-dimethylpiperidin-2-yl]ethyl]-9a,11a-dimethyl-7-{[(2r,3r,4s,5s,6r)-3,4,5-trihydroxy-6-(hydroxymethyl)oxan-2-yl]oxy}-tetradecahydrocyclopenta[a]phenanthren-5-one was first documented in 2005 (PMID: 15730259). Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on puqietinonoside. |
