Description | (4E,8E)-beta-humulene belongs to the class of organic compounds known as sesquiterpenoids. These are terpenes with three consecutive isoprene units. Thus, (4E,8E)-beta-humulene is considered to be an isoprenoid. (4e,8e)-β-humulene is found in Abies sibirica, Achillea ageratum, Cannabis sativa, Chuquiraga spinosa, Copaifera langsdorffii, Helichrysum odoratissimum, Heracleum dissectum, Larix sibirica and Thymus marschallianus. Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on (4E,8E)-beta-humulene. |
