These are sesquiterpenoids with a structure based on either the himachalane or the lippifoliane skeleton. (4as,5s,9ar)-2,5,9,9-tetramethyl-4,5,6,7,8,9a-hexahydro-3h-benzo[7]annulen-4a-ol is found in Fitzroya cupressoides. Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on (4aS,5S,9aR)-4,4a,5,6,7,8,9,9aalpha-Octahydro-2,5beta,9,9-tetramethyl-3H-benzocyclohepten-4abeta-ol. |
