| Description | Epicubebol glycoside belongs to the class of organic compounds known as sesquiterpenoids. These are terpenes with three consecutive isoprene units. (2s,3r,4s,5r,6r)-2-{[(4r,5r,6r,7s,10r)-7-isopropyl-4,10-dimethyltricyclo[4.4.0.0¹,⁵]decan-4-yl]oxy}-6-methyloxane-3,4,5-triol is found in Calendula arvensis. (2s,3r,4s,5r,6r)-2-{[(4r,5r,6r,7s,10r)-7-isopropyl-4,10-dimethyltricyclo[4.4.0.0¹,⁵]decan-4-yl]oxy}-6-methyloxane-3,4,5-triol was first documented in 1990 (PMID: 1965654). Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on epicubebol glycoside. |
