Description[(1S,2R,3R,4R)-5-cyano-1,2,3,7-tetrahydroxy-3-methyl-6,11-dioxo-2,4-dihydro-1H-benzo[h]carbazol-4-yl] acetate belongs to the class of organic compounds known as carbazoles. Carbazoles are compounds containing a three ring system containing a pyrrole ring fused on either side to a benzene ring. (1s,2r,3r,4r)-5-cyano-1,2,3,7-tetrahydroxy-3-methyl-6,11-dioxo-1h,2h,4h-benzo[b]carbazol-4-yl acetate is found in Streptomyces murayamaensis. Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on [(1S,2R,3R,4R)-5-cyano-1,2,3,7-tetrahydroxy-3-methyl-6,11-dioxo-2,4-dihydro-1H-benzo[h]carbazol-4-yl] acetate.
