Description[4,5-Dimethoxy-2-({3,4,15-trimethoxy-10-methyl-10-azatetracyclo[7.7.1.0²,⁷.0¹³,¹⁷]Heptadeca-1(17),2(7),3,5,13,15-hexaen-16-yl}oxy)phenyl]methanol belongs to the class of organic compounds known as aporphines. These are quinoline alkaloids containing the dibenzo[de,g]quinoline ring system or a dehydrogenated derivative thereof. [4,5-dimethoxy-2-({3,4,15-trimethoxy-10-methyl-10-azatetracyclo[7.7.1.0²,⁷.0¹³,¹⁷]heptadeca-1(17),2(7),3,5,13,15-hexaen-16-yl}oxy)phenyl]methanol is found in Thalictrum urbainii. Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on [4,5-dimethoxy-2-({3,4,15-trimethoxy-10-methyl-10-azatetracyclo[7.7.1.0²,⁷.0¹³,¹⁷]Heptadeca-1(17),2(7),3,5,13,15-hexaen-16-yl}oxy)phenyl]methanol.
