These are sterol lipids containing a lactone moiety linked to the steroid skeleton. methyl (3s)-3-[(1r,2r,4s,7s,8s,11r,12r,16r)-7-(furan-3-yl)-1,8,15,15-tetramethyl-5,18-dioxo-3,6,14-trioxapentacyclo[9.7.0.0²,⁴.0²,⁸.0¹²,¹⁶]octadecan-12-yl]-3-hydroxypropanoate is found in Citrus aurantium.
