These are sterol lipids containing a carbohydrate moiety glycosidically linked to the steroid skeleton. 5-{7-[(3,4-dihydroxy-6-methyl-5-{[3,4,5-trihydroxy-6-(hydroxymethyl)oxan-2-yl]oxy}oxan-2-yl)oxy]-3a-hydroxy-9a,11a-dimethyl-tetradecahydrocyclopenta[a]phenanthren-1-yl}-3h-furan-2-one is found in Digitalis lanata.
