These are diterpene lactones with a structure characterized by the presence of a gamma-lactone fused to a guaiane, forming 3,6,9-trimethyl-azuleno[4,5-b]furan-2-one or a derivative. (3s,3ar,4s,6s,6as,9as,9bs)-6-hydroxy-3,6,9-trimethyl-3-{[(2e)-2-methylbut-2-enoyl]oxy}-2-oxo-3ah,4h,5h,6ah,7h,9ah,9bh-azuleno[4,5-b]furan-4-yl (2e)-2-methylbut-2-enoate is found in Laserpitium siler. Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on 2-Butenoic acid, 2-methyl-, (3S,3aR,4S,6S,6aS,9aS,9bS)-2,3,3a,4,5,6,6a,7,9a,9b-decahydro-6-hydroxy-3,6,9-trimethyl-2-oxoazuleno(4,5-b)furan-3,4-diyl ester, (2Z,2'Z)-. |
