| Description | Grahamine belongs to the class of organic compounds known as tricarboxylic acids and derivatives. These are carboxylic acids containing exactly three carboxyl groups. 6-hydroxy-4,5,6-trimethyl-3,7-dioxo-2,8-dioxa-13-azatricyclo[8.5.1.0¹³,¹⁶]hexadec-10-en-5-yl 2-methylbutanoate is found in Schizanthus grahamii. 6-hydroxy-4,5,6-trimethyl-3,7-dioxo-2,8-dioxa-13-azatricyclo[8.5.1.0¹³,¹⁶]hexadec-10-en-5-yl 2-methylbutanoate was first documented in 1999 (PMID: 10192140). Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on Grahamine. |
