Description | Rhamnetin-3-O-neohesperidoside belongs to the class of organic compounds known as flavonoid-3-o-glycosides. These are phenolic compounds containing a flavonoid moiety which is O-glycosidically linked to carbohydrate moiety at the C3-position. 3-{[(2s,3s,4s,5r,6r)-3,4-dihydroxy-6-methoxy-5-{[(2s,3r,4r,5r,6s)-3,4,5-trihydroxy-6-methyloxan-2-yl]oxy}oxan-2-yl]oxy}-2-(3,4-dihydroxyphenyl)-5-hydroxy-7-methoxychromen-4-one is found in Derris trifoliata. It was first documented in 1986 (PMID: 3509960). Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on Rhamnetin-3-O-neohesperidoside. |
