| Description | 7,8-Bis({[5-(1,2-dihydroxyethyl)-3,4-dihydroxyoxolan-2-yl]oxy})-5-hydroxy-2-(4-hydroxyphenyl)-4H-chromen-4-one belongs to the class of organic compounds known as flavonoid-8-o-glycosides. These are phenolic compounds containing a flavonoid moiety which is O-glycosidically linked to carbohydrate moiety at the C8-position. 7,8-bis({[5-(1,2-dihydroxyethyl)-3,4-dihydroxyoxolan-2-yl]oxy})-5-hydroxy-2-(4-hydroxyphenyl)chromen-4-one is found in Hibiscus syriacus. Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on 7,8-bis({[5-(1,2-dihydroxyethyl)-3,4-dihydroxyoxolan-2-yl]oxy})-5-hydroxy-2-(4-hydroxyphenyl)-4H-chromen-4-one. |
