| Description | (2R,5S)-2-[(1S)-1-[(1S,2S,7S,10R,11S,14R,15S)-5,5-dimethoxy-2,15-dimethyltetracyclo[8.7.0.0²,⁷.0¹¹,¹⁵]Heptadecan-14-yl]ethyl]-5-methylpiperidine belongs to the class of organic compounds known as 22,26-epiminocholestanes. These are steroid alkaloids obtained by reduction of spirosolane through opening of the E-ring. (2r,5s)-2-[(1s)-1-[(1r,3as,3br,5as,9as,9bs,11as)-7,7-dimethoxy-9a,11a-dimethyl-tetradecahydrocyclopenta[a]phenanthren-1-yl]ethyl]-5-methylpiperidine is found in Solanum pseudoquina. Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on (2R,5S)-2-[(1S)-1-[(1S,2S,7S,10R,11S,14R,15S)-5,5-dimethoxy-2,15-dimethyltetracyclo[8.7.0.0²,⁷.0¹¹,¹⁵]Heptadecan-14-yl]ethyl]-5-methylpiperidine. |
