Catechins are compounds containing a catechin moiety, which is a 3,4-dihydro-2-chromene-3,5.7-Tiol. (2s)-n-[(2s)-1-[(1r,9r,10r,11s,12r)-1,12-dihydroxy-9-(3-hydroxy-4-methoxyphenyl)-3,5-dimethoxy-10-phenyl-8-oxatricyclo[7.2.1.0²,⁷]dodeca-2,4,6-triene-11-carbonyl]pyrrolidin-2-yl]-2-methylbutanimidic acid is found in Aglaia odorata.
