Diphenylmethanes are compounds containing a diphenylmethane moiety, which consists of a methane wherein two hydrogen atoms are replaced by two phenyl groups. 2,2-bis(4-hydroxy-3-methoxyphenyl)-5-({[(2r,3r,4s,5s,6r)-3,4,5-trihydroxy-6-(hydroxymethyl)oxan-2-yl]oxy}methyl)-1,3-dioxin-4-one is found in Ajania fruticulosa. Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on Ajanoside. |
