| Description | (2S,3E,4S)-2beta-(beta-D-Glucopyranosyloxy)-3-ethylidene-5-(methoxycarbonyl)-3,4-dihydro-2H-pyran-4alpha-acetic acid (betaR)-beta-methoxy-3,4-dihydroxyphenethyl ester belongs to the class of organic compounds known as terpene glycosides. These are prenol lipids containing a carbohydrate moiety glycosidically bound to a terpene backbone. methyl (4s,5e,6s)-4-{2-[(2r)-2-(3,4-dihydroxyphenyl)-2-methoxyethoxy]-2-oxoethyl}-5-ethylidene-6-{[(2s,3r,4s,5s,6r)-3,4,5-trihydroxy-6-(hydroxymethyl)oxan-2-yl]oxy}-4,6-dihydropyran-3-carboxylate is found in Fraxinus americana and Jasminum grandiflorum. Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on (2S,3E,4S)-2beta-(beta-D-Glucopyranosyloxy)-3-ethylidene-5-(methoxycarbonyl)-3,4-dihydro-2H-pyran-4alpha-acetic acid (betaR)-beta-methoxy-3,4-dihydroxyphenethyl ester. |
