Description(2S)-2-[(1S,2S)-2-Hydroxy-3-cyclopentenyl]glycine belongs to the class of organic compounds known as l-alpha-amino acids. These are alpha amino acids which have the L-configuration of the alpha-carbon atom. (s)-amino[(1s,2s)-2-hydroxycyclopent-3-en-1-yl]acetic acid is found in Passiflora subpeltata. Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on (2S)-2-[(1S,2S)-2-Hydroxy-3-cyclopentenyl]glycine.
