These are terpene compounds formed by four isoprene units. methyl (3s)-5-[(1s,2r,4ar,8ar)-2-hydroxy-2,5,5,8a-tetramethyl-hexahydro-1h-naphthalen-1-yl]-3-methylpentanoate is found in Hymenaea verrucosa. Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on methyl (3S)-5-[(1S,2R,4aR,8aR)-2-hydroxy-2,5,5,8a-tetramethyl-decahydronaphthalen-1-yl]-3-methylpentanoate.
