Naphthopyrans are compounds containing a pyran ring fused to a naphthalene moiety. Furan is a 6 membered-ring non-aromatic ring with five carbon and one oxygen atoms. Naphthalene is a polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbon made up of two fused benzene rings. (4as,4br,6ar,8s,10ar,10br,12as)-4b,7,7,10a,12a-pentamethyl-3-oxo-2-(2-oxopropylidene)-decahydro-4h-phenanthro[2,1-b]pyran-8-yl acetate is found in Aspergillus chevalieri. Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on (1R,2S,7S,10R,11R,14S,16R)-1,7,11,15,15-pentamethyl-4-oxo-5-(2-oxopropylidene)-6-oxatetracyclo[8.8.0.0²,⁷.0¹¹,¹⁶]Octadecan-14-yl acetate. |
