| Description | Veramiline 3-O-beta-D-glucopyranoside belongs to the class of organic compounds known as steroidal glycosides. These are sterol lipids containing a carbohydrate moiety glycosidically linked to the steroid skeleton. (2r,3r,4s,5s,6r)-2-{[(1r,3as,3bs,7s,9ar,9bs,11as)-9a,11a-dimethyl-1-[(1s)-1-[(2r,5s)-5-methylpiperidin-2-yl]ethyl]-1h,2h,3h,3ah,3bh,4h,6h,7h,8h,9h,9bh,10h,11h-cyclopenta[a]phenanthren-7-yl]oxy}-6-(hydroxymethyl)oxane-3,4,5-triol is found in Veratrum taliense. Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on Veramiline 3-O-beta-D-glucopyranoside. |
