DescriptionCaesaldekarin b belongs to the class of organic compounds known as diterpenoids. These are terpene compounds formed by four isoprene units. (4ar,5r,6as,7r,11as,11br)-4,4,7,11b-tetramethyl-1h,2h,3h,5h,6h,6ah,7h,11h,11ah-phenanthro[3,2-b]furan-4a,5-diol is found in Caesalpinia major. (4ar,5r,6as,7r,11as,11br)-4,4,7,11b-tetramethyl-1h,2h,3h,5h,6h,6ah,7h,11h,11ah-phenanthro[3,2-b]furan-4a,5-diol was first documented in 2015 (PMID: 26087554). Based on a literature review a small amount of articles have been published on Caesaldekarin b (PMID: 26268793).
