| Description | Lipedoside B-VI belongs to the class of organic compounds known as fatty acyl glycosides of mono- and disaccharides. Fatty acyl glycosides of mono- and disaccharides are compounds composed of a mono- or disaccharide moiety linked to one hydroxyl group of a fatty alcohol or of a phosphorylated alcohol (phosphoprenols), a hydroxy fatty acid or to one carboxyl group of a fatty acid (ester linkage) or to an amino alcohol. (2r,3r,4r,5r,6s)-6-[(6,7-dihydroxy-3,7-dimethyloct-1-en-3-yl)oxy]-5-hydroxy-2-(hydroxymethyl)-4-{[(2s,3r,4r,5r,6s)-3,4,5-trihydroxy-6-methyloxan-2-yl]oxy}oxan-3-yl (2e)-3-(4-hydroxyphenyl)prop-2-enoate is found in Ligustrum pricei. Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on Lipedoside B-VI. |
