| Description | Adotogirin belongs to the class of organic compounds known as alkyl-phenylketones. These are aromatic compounds containing a ketone substituted by one alkyl group, and a phenyl group. 1-(4-{[(2e)-3,7-dimethylocta-2,6-dien-1-yl]oxy}-2,6-dihydroxy-3-methylphenyl)-2-methylpropan-1-one is found in Hypericum erectum. 1-(4-{[(2e)-3,7-dimethylocta-2,6-dien-1-yl]oxy}-2,6-dihydroxy-3-methylphenyl)-2-methylpropan-1-one was first documented in 2016 (PMID: 27575327). Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on Adotogirin. |
