These are polycyclic compounds that is either a polyphenolic compound composed of two or more monocyclic aromatic units linked by an ester bond (depside), or a compound containing the depsidone structure (depsidone). 5,7-dihydroxy-3-{[4-hydroxy-5-(hydroxymethyl)-3-[(3,4,5-trihydroxy-6-methyloxan-2-yl)oxy]oxolan-2-yl]oxy}-2-(4-hydroxyphenyl)chromen-4-one is found in Artabotrys hexapetalus. 5,7-Dihydroxy-3-{[4-hydroxy-5-(hydroxymethyl)-3-[(3,4,5-trihydroxy-6-methyloxan-2-yl)oxy]oxolan-2-yl]oxy}-2-(4-hydroxyphenyl)-4H-chromen-4-one is an extremely weak basic (essentially neutral) compound (based on its pKa).
