Common Name3-{[(2s,3r,4s,5s,6r)-4,5-dihydroxy-6-(hydroxymethyl)-3-{[(2s,3r,4r,5r,6s)-3,4,5-trihydroxy-6-methyloxan-2-yl]oxy}oxan-2-yl]oxy}-5-hydroxy-2-(4-hydroxyphenyl)-7-methoxychromen-4-one
DescriptionRhamnocitrin 3-neohesperidoside belongs to the class of organic compounds known as flavonoid-3-o-glycosides. These are phenolic compounds containing a flavonoid moiety which is O-glycosidically linked to carbohydrate moiety at the C3-position. Thus, rhamnocitrin 3-neohesperidoside is considered to be a flavonoid. 3-{[(2s,3r,4s,5s,6r)-4,5-dihydroxy-6-(hydroxymethyl)-3-{[(2s,3r,4r,5r,6s)-3,4,5-trihydroxy-6-methyloxan-2-yl]oxy}oxan-2-yl]oxy}-5-hydroxy-2-(4-hydroxyphenyl)-7-methoxychromen-4-one is found in Boscia salicifolia. Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on Rhamnocitrin 3-neohesperidoside.
