These are monosaccharides in which the sugar unit is a is a six-carbon containing moeity. (2r,3s,4r,5r,6s)-3,4,5-trihydroxy-6-(hydroxymethyl)oxan-2-yl (2r)-2-(4-hydroxyphenyl)propanoate is found in Panax ginseng. Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on (2R,3S,4R,5R,6S)-3,4,5-trihydroxy-6-(hydroxymethyl)oxan-2-yl (2R)-2-(4-hydroxyphenyl)propanoate.
