Naphthofurans are compounds containing a furan ring fused to a naphthalene moiety. Furan is a 5 membered- ring aromatic ring with four carbon and one oxygen atoms. Naphthalene is a polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbon made up of two fused benzene rings. (3r,4ar,5s,8r,8ar)-3,4a,5-trimethyl-2-oxo-3h,4h,5h,6h,7h,8h,8ah,9h-naphtho[2,3-b]furan-8-yl 2-methylbut-2-enoate is found in Parasenecio petasitoides. Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on (3R,4aR,5S,8R,8aR)-3,4a,5-trimethyl-2-oxo-2H,3H,4H,4aH,5H,6H,7H,8H,8aH,9H-naphtho[2,3-b]furan-8-yl 2-methylbut-2-enoate. |
