Description2,3,4,6-Tetrahydroxy-5-{[2-(4-hydroxyphenyl)acetyl]oxy}cyclohexyl 2-(4-hydroxyphenyl)acetate belongs to the class of organic compounds known as cyclohexanols. Cyclohexanols are compounds containing an alcohol group attached to a cyclohexane ring. 2,3,4,6-tetrahydroxy-5-{[2-(4-hydroxyphenyl)acetyl]oxy}cyclohexyl 2-(4-hydroxyphenyl)acetate is found in Taraxacum linearisquameum. 2,3,4,6-Tetrahydroxy-5-{[2-(4-hydroxyphenyl)acetyl]oxy}cyclohexyl 2-(4-hydroxyphenyl)acetate is an extremely weak basic (essentially neutral) compound (based on its pKa).
