Description | (2R,3S,4S,5R,6R)-2-(hydroxymethyl)-6-{[(2R,3E)-4-[(4R)-2,6,6-trimethyl-4-{[(2R,3R,4S,5S,6R)-3,4,5-trihydroxy-6-(hydroxymethyl)oxan-2-yl]oxy}cyclohex-1-en-1-yl]but-3-en-2-yl]oxy}oxane-3,4,5-triol belongs to the class of organic compounds known as terpene glycosides. These are prenol lipids containing a carbohydrate moiety glycosidically bound to a terpene backbone. (2r,3s,4s,5r,6r)-2-(hydroxymethyl)-6-{[(2r,3e)-4-[(4r)-2,6,6-trimethyl-4-{[(2r,3r,4s,5s,6r)-3,4,5-trihydroxy-6-(hydroxymethyl)oxan-2-yl]oxy}cyclohex-1-en-1-yl]but-3-en-2-yl]oxy}oxane-3,4,5-triol is found in Alangium platanifolium. Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on (2R,3S,4S,5R,6R)-2-(hydroxymethyl)-6-{[(2R,3E)-4-[(4R)-2,6,6-trimethyl-4-{[(2R,3R,4S,5S,6R)-3,4,5-trihydroxy-6-(hydroxymethyl)oxan-2-yl]oxy}cyclohex-1-en-1-yl]but-3-en-2-yl]oxy}oxane-3,4,5-triol. |
