| Description | Camellianin A belongs to the class of organic compounds known as flavonoid o-glycosides. Flavonoid O-glycosides are compounds containing a carbohydrate moiety which is O-glycosidically linked to the 2-phenylchromen-4-one flavonoid backbone. [(2r,3s,4r,5r,6s)-4,5-dihydroxy-6-{[7-hydroxy-2-(4-hydroxyphenyl)-4-oxochromen-5-yl]oxy}-3-{[(2s,3r,4r,5r,6s)-3,4,5-trihydroxy-6-methyloxan-2-yl]oxy}oxan-2-yl]methyl acetate is found in Cephalotaxus sinensis. [(2r,3s,4r,5r,6s)-4,5-dihydroxy-6-{[7-hydroxy-2-(4-hydroxyphenyl)-4-oxochromen-5-yl]oxy}-3-{[(2s,3r,4r,5r,6s)-3,4,5-trihydroxy-6-methyloxan-2-yl]oxy}oxan-2-yl]methyl acetate was first documented in 2010 (PMID: 21141488). Based on a literature review a small amount of articles have been published on Camellianin A (PMID: 35893891) (PMID: 28411692) (PMID: 27145917) (PMID: 26117310). |
