Description(2S,3R,4S,5S,6R)-2-{[(1R)-6-hydroxy-1-[(4-hydroxyphenyl)methyl]-2-methyl-1,2,3,4-tetrahydroisoquinolin-7-yl]oxy}-6-(hydroxymethyl)oxane-3,4,5-triol belongs to the class of organic compounds known as benzylisoquinolines. These are organic compounds containing an isoquinoline to which a benzyl group is attached. (2s,3r,4s,5s,6r)-2-{[(1r)-6-hydroxy-1-[(4-hydroxyphenyl)methyl]-2-methyl-3,4-dihydro-1h-isoquinolin-7-yl]oxy}-6-(hydroxymethyl)oxane-3,4,5-triol is found in Phellodendron amurense. Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on (2S,3R,4S,5S,6R)-2-{[(1R)-6-hydroxy-1-[(4-hydroxyphenyl)methyl]-2-methyl-1,2,3,4-tetrahydroisoquinolin-7-yl]oxy}-6-(hydroxymethyl)oxane-3,4,5-triol.
