Common Name3-{[(2s,3r,4r,5r,6s)-4,5-dihydroxy-6-methyl-3-{[(2s,3r,4s,5s,6r)-3,4,5-trihydroxy-6-(hydroxymethyl)oxan-2-yl]oxy}oxan-2-yl]oxy}-5,7-dihydroxy-2-(4-hydroxyphenyl)chromen-4-one
DescriptionKaempferol 3-glucosyl-(1->2)-rhamnoside, also known as kemp-glu-rham, belongs to the class of organic compounds known as flavonoid-3-o-glycosides. These are phenolic compounds containing a flavonoid moiety which is O-glycosidically linked to carbohydrate moiety at the C3-position. Thus, kaempferol 3-glucosyl-(1->2)-rhamnoside is considered to be a flavonoid. 3-{[(2s,3r,4r,5r,6s)-4,5-dihydroxy-6-methyl-3-{[(2s,3r,4s,5s,6r)-3,4,5-trihydroxy-6-(hydroxymethyl)oxan-2-yl]oxy}oxan-2-yl]oxy}-5,7-dihydroxy-2-(4-hydroxyphenyl)chromen-4-one is found in Crocus speciosus and Ginkgo biloba. Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on Kaempferol 3-glucosyl-(1->2)-rhamnoside.
