DescriptionPochonin J belongs to the class of organic compounds known as macrolides and analogues. These are organic compounds containing a lactone ring of at least twelve members. (1r,13r,15s,16r)-7,9,16-trihydroxy-13-methyl-12,19-dioxatricyclo[13.3.1.0⁵,¹⁰]nonadeca-5,7,9-triene-3,11-dione is found in Pochonia chlamydosporia. (1r,13r,15s,16r)-7,9,16-trihydroxy-13-methyl-12,19-dioxatricyclo[13.3.1.0⁵,¹⁰]nonadeca-5,7,9-triene-3,11-dione was first documented in 2011 (PMID: 21495691). Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on Pochonin J.
