These are alcohols substituted by a chlorine atom at a saturated carbon atom otherwise bearing only hydrogen or hydrocarbyl groups. (1r,5r)-5-bromo-2-[(1s)-2-chloro-1-hydroxyethyl]-4,4-dimethylcyclohex-2-en-1-ol is found in Ochtodes secundiramea. Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on (1R,5R)-5-bromo-2-[(1S)-2-chloro-1-hydroxyethyl]-4,4-dimethylcyclohex-2-en-1-ol. |
