| Description | 1Beta,2alpha-epoxytagitinin C, also known as 1β,2α-epoxytagitinin C, belongs to the class of organic compounds known as terpene lactones. These are prenol lipids containing a lactone ring. (1r,2r,4r,5r,7r,9z,11r)-4-hydroxy-4,9-dimethyl-14-methylidene-8,13-dioxo-6,12-dioxatricyclo[9.3.0.0⁵,⁷]tetradec-9-en-2-yl 2-methylpropanoate is found in Tithonia diversifolia. (1r,2r,4r,5r,7r,9z,11r)-4-hydroxy-4,9-dimethyl-14-methylidene-8,13-dioxo-6,12-dioxatricyclo[9.3.0.0⁵,⁷]tetradec-9-en-2-yl 2-methylpropanoate was first documented in 2022 (PMID: 34779991). Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on 1beta,2alpha-epoxytagitinin C. |
