These are quinones with a structure characterized by the quinone ring substituted by an prenyl side-chain. 2-{4-[(3e)-5-hydroxy-4-methylpent-3-en-1-yl]furan-2-yl}cyclohexa-2,5-diene-1,4-dione is found in Lithospermum erythrorhizon. Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on Hydroxyechinofuran B.
