Description1,6-Dimethyl-4-(propan-2-yl)-1,2,3,4,4a,7,8,8a-octahydronaphthalene-2,8a-diol belongs to the class of organic compounds known as sesquiterpenoids. These are terpenes with three consecutive isoprene units. 4-isopropyl-1,6-dimethyl-2,3,4,4a,7,8-hexahydro-1h-naphthalene-2,8a-diol is found in Trichaptum biforme. Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on 1,6-dimethyl-4-(propan-2-yl)-1,2,3,4,4a,7,8,8a-octahydronaphthalene-2,8a-diol.
