Description(2S)-2-hydroxy-3-{[(2R,3R,4S,5R,6R)-3,4,5-trihydroxy-6-(hydroxymethyl)oxan-2-yl]oxy}propyl (4Z,7Z,10Z,13Z)-hexadeca-4,7,10,13-tetraenoate belongs to the class of organic compounds known as glycosylmonoacylglycerols. These are glycosylglycerols carrying exactly one fatty acyl chain attached to the glycerol moiety through an ester linkage. (2s)-2-hydroxy-3-{[(2r,3r,4s,5r,6r)-3,4,5-trihydroxy-6-(hydroxymethyl)oxan-2-yl]oxy}propyl (4z,7z,10z,13z)-hexadeca-4,7,10,13-tetraenoate is found in Oltmannsiellopsis unicellularis. Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on (2S)-2-hydroxy-3-{[(2R,3R,4S,5R,6R)-3,4,5-trihydroxy-6-(hydroxymethyl)oxan-2-yl]oxy}propyl (4Z,7Z,10Z,13Z)-hexadeca-4,7,10,13-tetraenoate.
