DescriptionMethyl 3-acetyl-4-(2-hydroxyethyl)-2-{[3,4,5-trihydroxy-6-(hydroxymethyl)oxan-2-yl]oxy}-3,4-dihydro-2H-pyran-5-carboxylate belongs to the class of organic compounds known as terpene glycosides. These are prenol lipids containing a carbohydrate moiety glycosidically bound to a terpene backbone. methyl 5-acetyl-4-(2-hydroxyethyl)-6-{[3,4,5-trihydroxy-6-(hydroxymethyl)oxan-2-yl]oxy}-5,6-dihydro-4h-pyran-3-carboxylate is found in Lamium album. Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on methyl 3-acetyl-4-(2-hydroxyethyl)-2-{[3,4,5-trihydroxy-6-(hydroxymethyl)oxan-2-yl]oxy}-3,4-dihydro-2H-pyran-5-carboxylate.
